Black Democrats, the Party of “Hope, With No Change”

As voters are making choices during the primaries it is becoming more evident that republicans are inclined to vote against republican incumbents and the democrats lean more toward voting to keep democrat incumbents. It begs the question; do democrats truly want change? And if they do want change, is it for increasing government programs? My opinion is many of the democrats are doing what they have always done, and as a result, are getting what they’ve always got. The black vote is a prime example of this blind mechanized voting that ostensibly hasn’t changed the result—other than increasing government’s power and size. The black vote has become the “hope, with no change” voting block, and without much thought, they will continue voting for the Rangels’ of their party.

The Dividing Line

But, let’s ignore the fact that our greatness as a world superpower is waning as we give in to the warmth and fussiness of tolerance. If this were a football game it would be equivalent to taking off our helmets, shoulder pads and jerseys; removing our goal post, and then working with the opponent to help them in their endeavor of beating the crap out of us. Personally, I don’t want to be fair. There will always be a dividing line in life, it cannot be removed—it only gets repositioned. Our country is no longer at the 50 yard line, we are at our 10 yard line and our opponent has the ball; is making the rules; and we have no timeouts left. We need to make a “Hail Mary” pass.

For republican voters there are two key questions for our candidates; are you willing to repeal the healthcare bill? And, are you willing to vote for term limits?

For democrat voters there also seems to be two key questions for their choice of candidates, (but I don’t expect them to ask it); are you willing to tax the rich into oblivion, so we can have free healthcare? And, are you willing to further increase government programs so there are more opportunities for government domination and total control over what will become its subjects.

Have we forgotten how to swim?

Don't worry the government will save us!

Have we forgotten the history of over taxation on the rich? An article dated June 09, 1991 should be a wake-up-call for the affect it has on taxing the wealthy.

Red Dog, out…

About The Conservative Defender

I'm part of the new anomaly—conservative activism. Inspired by the liberal wrecking crew and out-of-control government greed and corruption. Term limits may be the only way to bring government back to the American people.

I agree with much of what you said. There is not only a dividing line, we are a country of special interests that want more power and more government and with that process we end up more divided.
