To our protectors: as any soldier knows, some actions appear to the observer as hate—as in the killing of an enemy combatant—what is not seen is the soldiers internal cry and the eternal cry of the world.
To some our actions may have the expression of hate…it is because it is either seen though the eyes of hate or the eyes of innocence.
Hate blinds, and what some are wrongfully labeling as hate is the natural reaction of its citizens trying to protect our country, our culture, and birthright of America. I will admit, many of us, out of frustration and inability to stop the destruction of our country, have moved to the dark place of hate. May they find the peace in their hearts that does not exist in this world.
This country has always defended itself and defended the defenseless. We are not perfect and sometimes we get it wrong, but it is not hate, it is the love of freedom and love of country. It is the best game in town.
God bless America on this September 11, 2010, and especially to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
