No tats or other decorations needed

The penIt’s Easter morning and I’m awakened with good news. My granddaughter, Brittany, called at 6:00am to ask if she could go to sunrise service with us. What a delight and also an encouragement for me during very difficult times. Not only for her, but for our country. She will be the gift that keeps on giving and is the embodiment of our American culture. I am proud and not for the first time.

By the time she turned sixteen she had her drivers license and bought her first car. More impressing is, she has a plan for her future. She has checked out colleges and has a financial plan for attending. I don’t think she has a clear political stance, but she has conservative written all over her; fiscally responsible, dependable, nurturing, believes in a higher power and she is a better shot than me. She is gentle, but firm. A do anything, be anything, kind of kid. No tats or other decorations needed.  She knows who she is and she is confident in where she is going. There is hope and I see it in her.

About The Conservative Defender

I'm part of the new anomaly—conservative activism. Brought to you by liberal government and, more specifically, Senator Bill Nelson. Term limits will end career politicians' reign on the American people.
